« Last post by David on April 28, 2018, 10:59:29 PM »It would appear that the world of rockets does not realize the limitations linear boundaries provide…such boundaries provide a check and checkmate to the idea of humans traveling to the moon or mars via the rocket express.
You might think that after all these years it might dawn on someone to consider something a bit more advanced than rockets.
It was back in 2006 that a short article appeared in Flying Saucer Review out of the UK…with a picture of myself attached. In January 2008 an article appeared in Nexus Magazine where I described the problem of nonuniform differentials existing between planets and stars. I must admit that I did expect some kind of a response but none was forthcoming.
So here we are in 2018 and they are still talking about a base on the moon and a base on mars with nothing more than a linear concept of space as a reference…when in fact space is not linearly structured.
I would consider it prudent to question the validity of a space program intent on failure when it comes to providing human transport to the moon or mars.

« Last post by David on April 03, 2018, 11:14:07 PM »Some time ago we had a thread focused on BP’s drilling in the gulf for oil and how they were attempting to plug a hole in the ocean floor. I was concerned then that they would fail but they managed to plug the hole and stop the flow of oil…but not completely.
This same spot in the gulf has a new problem of late, with the ocean water becoming a bit on the warm side…80F.
I doubt BP has a geologist on staff who truly understands the dynamics they were messing with, consequently the reality of their blunder remains a real and present danger…with no remedy in sight.

I’m not buying the current Mars hype simply because it smells like a publicity stunt and nothing more, even disregarding the technical hurdles you mention.
