Very interesting video. And now I know why the foremost Egyptologist of our time is livid when people suggest that ancient aliens were involved in ancient Egypt. It is because it would mean that his people did not create the many amazing inventions, writings, and buildings, but were directed by “others,” or used information that was passed-down. David (MS)
You mean, Zowie Hawaz? Sorry about the spelling but wasn’t he let go? And wasn’t he the figurehead who said to foreign archaeologists, you are not allowed to dig for the Hall of Records beneath the sphynxe’s paws?
His name is Dr. Zahi Hawass and he resigned his position because the Egyptian Army withdrew their soldiers who were protecting the tombs and other antiquities of Egypt during the revolution to deal with other matters, leaving them virtually unprotected and they were broken into by criminals. He is very sensitive to both Egypt’s nationalistic interests and its good name. And yes, I know, he is a pain to work with.
When I was in Egypt it was an eclipse in my thinking, then again with more ancient history that we are so cyclical to the full cycle of precession of the equinox. About 26 thousand years and apparently, so far, we’ve bombed ourselves back to the stone age or it’s a natural phenomenon. But wasn’t it Zahi who banned foreign archaeologists from further exploration for the Hall of Records or someone else.
Well, I checked. One side seems to say that there are tunnels under the Giza plateau and that a chamber was discovered right where Cayce said it would be, but it was covered up by the Egyptian government and Hawass denied it later on; And, then, he says that there was never any chamber found and/or Hall of Records. So I will put this down to “urban myth” at this point since no proof has been produced. Dr. Hawass has allowed numerous archaeologists from other countries to work on digs either with or under the supervision of Egyptian archaeologists for years.

Egypt was not first as a civilization but this video has many moments.
Great. But maybe great fake. Hey it’s scifi channel.
Still, a worthy video.
