		<description>When I went to school they told us it was egg shaped, more like a pear than anything else.

But that was before anyone got a look at it from space and discovered it was round and round it is, more or less.</description>

		<description>I have not been in space, but you can tell the shape of the planet when you are out at sea.  It looks very nice, you can see the horizon curving across the water.

Also, on the tops of very tall mountains you can see this as well, so I&#039;m sure some of the people that go on the water/mountains everyday know, along with the space people.</description>
