The Collider

The Large Hadron Collider is back on line.

When it broke down about a year ago some people thought that it was savaged by a particle from the future and the fact that it broke was a warning.  Others believe that the LHC will create a black hole which will swallow earth from within itself.  In any case, it’s certainly a most expensive man toy.  One which I hope will have more positive results than so far.

Great pictures here of this machine.  Aside from discovering the Higgs Boson particle, does anyone really know what the folk at LHC are trying to do?

What they are trying to do or think they are trying to do is a hopeless situation if they do not understand the nature of energy, in relation to an underlying force of energy determining the form and function of all physical structure.

The tabulated results they might obtain will be the opposite of what occurs, unless of course the observed results radically contradict their expectations.

Fast moving particles suffer a loss of their underlying energy, but when they collide with the target material and come to an abrupt halt they suffer a sudden increase in their underlying energy.

So there may well be some surprises.
