World in Grief Over Mother Earth

Aside from wars, starvation, disease and the economy, “the world is in grief over the death of our Mother Earth”.  That was a soundbite I heard as I flipped through channels between Obama signing into law the eight hundred billion dollar economy fixer and one of the science channels showing the horror of our fate if we don’t go green.  The statement pinpoints yet another stress factor.  It underlines once again the fact that we have to pull together as a world if we want to save it.
