Paris will launch a new city-wide electric car sharing service by the end of 2009 The current oil crisis is likely to spur on many cities to think about and introduce various schemes. As Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoë announced last week, Autolib will feature 4,000 electric cars available for rent.
Sir James Dyson, known for inventing the famous bagless Dyson vacuum, has turned his efforts towards creating an improved electric motor for automobiles.
Carlos Ghosn, CEO for Nissan and Renault, wasn’t too impressed with hybrid cars, saying that they are “a nice story, but they’re not a a good business”. Ghosn said that Nissan, along with Renault, “has an opportunity to be a world leader in mass-marketing [zero-emission vehicles].”
When I say “zero-emission” vehicles, I am referring to electric vehicles and fuel cell vehicles, cars that do not burn oil and release zero emissions into the air. Fuel cell vehicles are promising for the future—and Nissan continues to invest in their development—but the production and distribution of hydrogen is yet much more problematic than electricity or batteries. Because the battery technology is more advanced, we will introduce electric vehicles first.
Uh, Mr. Ghosn, have you had a chance to look at Project Unity?
Auto manufacturers are more forward thinking now. Chevrolet with the Volt, Mercedes planning to be petroleum free by 2015, and Audi promises an electric car within 10 years.
Other electric autos on the horizon include The Lightening Car Company, the plug-in Prius, and the Corbin Sparrow. And that’s only the beginning. Electric and hybrids are in full swing now, with more manufacturers looking to follow suit.
This week John McElroy even said “Hey GM, bring back the EV1“.
Is it time to start looking into Hybrid conversion kits like this one from Hymotion?

Another sample from W. David Barclay’s forthcoming book.
It is important to realize that the dimensions of universe are dynamically determined, whereby there must be a factor of dynamic force involved in maintaining the dimensional properties of physical structure. Otherwise the universe would automatically collapse or fold on itself causing the dimensions of structure to simply evaporate or vanish.
In a round about way this is exactly what physicists were trying to theoretically avoid and why the four dimensional space/time continuum appeared so attractive. And in this respect it was of some importance to describe the dimensions of universe as being self supporting, which is a little bit like suggesting the possibility of magic being involved.
Even Einstein eventually suggested the possibility of an underlying force, but I don’t believe many appreciated the significance of his radical suggestion. Yet it remains an amazing idea, which in my opinion should have been given greater consideration.

June 21st, 2008 — Science, Unity
For the better part of thirty years I have been involved in a little known program functioning under the code name of Project Unity, whose main objective has been to identify, define and apply the underlying dynamic force determining the form and function of physical structure. On March 24, 2002 I sent a communique? to the Canadian Space Agency in Ottawa, describing the successful discovery of this underlying force. I pointed out the inherent limitations associated with conventional science and technology, while emphasizing the benefits Project Unity was capable of providing. In this communication I made reference to the lunar geological samples returned to Earth more than thirty years ago during the Apollo Missions, whereby tests were performed at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas under the direction of the Lunar Quarantine Program, to determine if the lunar material represented a hazard to the Earth’s ecology.

June 21st, 2008 — Science, Unity
We have at the moment, 12 chapters of Unity by W. David Barclay, on line. Unity is only a total of 17 chapters. But the information within is most extraordinary. Here is a sample of chapter one.
When someone makes the statement that the Universe is 14 billion years old they are telling us something, which they want us to believe. The same is true when someone says it is 14 billion light years from here to the perimeter of the visible Universe. They want you to believe that they know what they are talking about and for you to accept what they are saying as the truth or something very close to the truth.
Then they tell you it took 14 billion years for the light from that distant galaxy to reach the lens of their telescope, in that the light has been traveling at a constant velocity, of 299,792,458 meters per second, for 14 billion years.
In this respect an astronomer shows us photographs taken of a distant galaxy and assures us that this is a photograph of an event which occurred billions of years ago. They want us to believe that it should be possible to take a picture of something that happened billions of years ago, despite the fact that we are not yet capable of taking a picture of something which happened last week, unless of course the picture was taken last week.

June 21st, 2008 — Unity
That’s right. Only three chapters away from the completion of Unity by W. David Barclay.
You can enjoy the Unity download by chapter anytime. But for those who would prefer their very own copy, a hard copy version. A link will be available when the book is complete.
